509 Trooper Alfred Weeks, Royal Horse Guards. Died aged 22 years of enteric fever (typhoid) in No 6 General Hospital, Naauwpoort (Noupoort), Colesberg District, Cape Province. Also commemorated on a Royal Horse Guards Boer War bronze memorial plaque in the Holy Trinity Church, Windsor, Berkshire (see War Memorials Online Reference WMO202153).
