John and Mary Ann (Parken) Weeks

William and Elizabeth (Hawk) Weeks married in Cornwall in 1784 and were blessed with three sons named  John, William, and James Weeks.

 Although we provide more insight into the families of John and James Weeks, we have yet to update our information on William Weeks.

In the earlier 1800, the opportunities for families to immigrate to British-ruled colonies became more attractive and popular, especially for the Weeks family from Cornwall, England.

John and James married their sweethearts in their hometown Cornwall, UK.  John married Mary Parken in 1809 and James married Grace Ackerly in 1817.

Both John and James planned to immigrate to Canada between 1817 and 1823.

 James and Grace Weeks changed their immigration plans and immigrate to South Africa with James best friend William Cocks 1820.

John and Mary Weeks immigrated in 1820 and 1822 to Prince Edward Canada.

John and Mary Weeks were blessed with:
